Thukada - Diamond Cuts

Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1cup
Black sesame seeds  -1/2 tsp
Ajwain -1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Butter 1 tbspn
Curry leaves  a few
Salt - to taste
Oil - to fry


Method:
In a wide bowl, add wheat flour and all other ingredients and mix well.
Heat butter and add it to the flour when its hot.
Mix them well and by adding enough water make it like a chapathi dough.
Make equal sized balls and roll them as chapathis. 
Make diagonal slits and this will give many small pieces of  diamond shape. Carefully twke one by one and fry them in batches in hot oil. The crispy thukadas are ready.
