JAVVARISI VADAI

Ingredients

  • 1 cup javvarisi
  • 2 nos potatoes
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
  • 2 nos green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Few coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • Sallt to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse sago well and soak overnight with sufficient water.
  • Add  little water if you feel it is not soaked in the morning.
  • To a mixing bowl – add sago, peanut powder, cooked potato, jeera, ginger, green chilli, red chilli powder, lemon juice, coriander leaves and required salt.
  • Mix it well until it forms a dough like. Make lemon sized balls and flatten as vadas.
  • Heat oil, deep fry them till golden brown on both sides. Cook in medium flame to avoid burning.
