As our elders say, a good start should always accompanied with sweet.. lemme start my blog with this ever easy and favourite sweet on special days in tamilhomes...🤗🤗 Fondly🤭 we call it as "Sweet upma'😂😂
Though it is very simple and easy... everyone will have their own way of making it..and to be very honest.. i never follow anyone but customise it the way i like😋

Ingredients:
# Rava - 200 g
# Sugar - 350 g
# Cashew nuts (10nos.) - 5 g
# Raisins (10nos.) - 5 g
# Ghee - 5 spoon
# Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
# Water - 400 ml
Directions:
In a pan, add 2 tsp of ghee and fry cashew and raisins. keep it aside
In the same pan add 2 cups of water, a pinch of turmeric powder and a tsp of ghee. Allow to boil for two minutes
Now, gradually add one cup of rava to it. Mix it well by adding 2tbsp of ghee. Mix it for 2 minutes to avoid forming lumps.
When the rava gets cooked well, add the sugar slowly and stir it simultaneously.
Let the sugar blend well with rava.Its almost done...!!
Now, add the fried cashew, raisins and cardamom powder to it.
Transfer it to a bowl and now kesari is ready to serve hot..❣️
